Paul, in Romans, has
been teaching us that there is nothing more important
than our relationship with God – not our
status, not our heritage, nor our wealth. Our
relationship with God has to be established in faith and
righteousness. Faith and
righteousness work together so that you can live your
faith in God, knowing that He loves you and has
justified you. As we
grow and live in Him, we begin to see His love for each
of us. We begin to see all that He does for us; we begin
to see
everything through His eyes. With this awareness and new
walk, we cannot use our old standards any more. We
cannot use
these old standards to determine our new lives in
Christ. |
