| Many people compare themselves to other people to determine their own personal worth. Even Christians can get
caught up in this dangerous habit. Many Christians determine their worth and holiness before our Holy God based on how their sins compare to other people’s sins. By
this they decide that they are more worthy before God than someone they think of as having more sins than they have. These people actually think that they are more clean and
holy before God than others that they look down on as “sinners.” Today we learn the dangers of such failed judgments as Jesus exposes such evil thinking. |
