Martin Luther King is a
wonderful example of a Christian who committed to
walking his faith in Jesus Christ. He committed
to meeting God’s standards for his Christian walk. What
about you? If you have given your life to the Lord, then
you too, must
walk according to God’s standards. The most important
battle that we face is to becoming “dead to sin.” Christ
no longer walks
this earth in the flesh, He is always with us in the
Spirit. Like Christ, we are called to also walk in the
Spirit. Walking in the
Spirit of God allows us to control and overcome the
physical world and the flesh. We need to submit to the
Lord for He is our
Master Trainer. Our obedience and reliance on the Lord
makes it possible for us to yield to the Spirit rather
than to the flesh,
doing what He plans for us. |
