Paul the Apostle addresses the
believers of Jesus Christ in Rome. Unlike his other
letters to specific populations, Paul directs
his message to all believers, who included the Jews, the
Gentiles, the slaves and slave masters, the free and the
bonded,
people of all backgrounds and nationalities who were in
Rome and who were all believers in Jesus Christ.
Paul is talking to the true Church, the true Body of Christ. Paul
tells the believers who he is in Christ, setting the
example
for all believers to follow. Paul is the “servant of
Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle.” All believers
are to be servants of Jesus
Christ. Learn from Paul, what it means to be a servant
of Christ. Can you live up to being the servant of Jesus
Christ?
