We say that we love God and
that we are His children. Then why do we resist Him? We
ask God to meet our needs and
to safeguard our lives. Then why do we resist Him? We
must seriously examine this question and our response to
it. Why do
some of us have difficulty submitting to the will and
ways of our loving and gracious God? Why do we want to
do our “own
thing?” Let us release the selfishness, pride and other
earthly and personal barriers that we hold against God.
Our perfect
loving God yearns for a close relationship with every
one of His children. Let us yield to God’s perfect
vision and perfect will
for our lives. Then each of us must help others in the
Body of Christ to yield to God’s perfect will in their
lives and share His
love and goodness. |
