| It is truly an honor and a blessing to be called by Jesus to be His disciple. We must not forget that there are expectations
and assignments that come with His call to discipleship. We must be obedient and confident that with any assignment from the Lord also comes the abilities from Him to fulfill His call.
Assignments from the Lord come with His powers in us to fulfill them. So why do we hesitate to obey and fulfill His call? Do we forget that when Jesus calls us to do anything that He
also provides the power to do the work in His Name? Do we get caught up in everyday tasks so that we do not hear God? Do we not know or recognize the guidance of the Holy Spirit in all
that we are called to do? Do we even pay attention to the call from the Lord? It is time to be attentive and active in the Spirit to Jesus’ call in even the simplest assignment. |
