(Part3) |
Paul calls on us to
recognize that for believers, there is a break between
where you were in your past before coming to
Christ and where you are now in Christ. You now have to
make a choice, understanding who you are now and Whose
you are
now. In Christ, we cannot be afraid to choose to walk in
the freedom that He has given to us. When things happen
that we
do not like, some of us forget that freedom in Christ
and we put on that old facade of fear and bondage. Some
of us are so
used to being in bondage that we cannot see our freedom
in Christ. How do we stop this awful cycle? Turn to our
new
standards and responsibilities as we grow in our
relationship in the Lord. Where do we find these
standards and responsibilities?
They are in His Word, the Bible, and they never change. |
