It appears that the Church
today is at a disadvantage when compared to the growing
Church of Rome during Paul’s
time. It seems that members of the Church really knew
each other then and fellowshipped with each other.
Today, the spiritual
growth of the Church is stymied because we do not know
each other well enough to encourage each other, to serve
each other,
nor to edify each other. Something is missing in our
relationships in the Church! The most important key to
our relationships in
the Church is the Holy Spirit. With all the differences
of backgrounds and experiences that are present in the
Body of Christ,
the one experience that brings us all together and helps
us to mature in the Church is the Holy Spirit. We must
know the Holy
Spirit and allow Him to work in us in order to grow
together as the Church. He is the key to our growth in
Christ. |
