In
preparation for battle, we learn that we must dress for
battle by putting on the Whole Armor of God. But we must
understand that a troop of soldiers has a better chance
at victory than one standing alone. As it states in
Ecclesiastes chapter 4:9-12 two are better than one, but
a threefold cord is not easily broken.
Many Christians are under the impression that they
stand alone, this is far from the truth. The Body of
Christ is made up of many individuals with different
functions, but we are one unit. The Roman soldiers
learned that standing together and locking their shields
made them an immovable force. The Body of Christ can
also be an immovable force, if we learn to stand
together.
