Jonah’s story, his
testimony, is not the story of God’s prophet having a
joyful journey inside of a great fish. It is the
testimony of a person who has a relationship with a Holy
God who dared to disobey His Lord. We learn so much
about what
it means for any servant of God to turn his or her back
on His Lord and disobey the Lord’s directives.
Correction and
chastisement are sure to come to those who disobey our
Lord. |
