In Matthew 12:31-32, Jesus is very clear about the consequences of blaspheming against God the Father, God the Son
and God the Holy Spirit. Do you know what “blaspheme” means? Many people do not fully understand what Jesus is teaching us and warning us about here in His word. So
many people who claim that they are believers, praising God our Father and His Son Jesus, actually have no idea Who the Holy Spirit is. They have no idea why blaspheming against
the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven in this world nor in the world to come. Today we will examine God’s word about the Holy Spirit.
Please examine with us the roles of
the God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit as we study the following scriptures:
God= (Elohim <93C TWOT>) Genesis 1:26, Mark 13:32-33
Jesus = 1- John 3:16
2- Luke 4:18-19
3- John 14:31
4- John 14:6-7 and 8:14 and 18 . Comfortless means orphan, parentless, fatherless.
Holy Spirit= also
called Holy Ghost and Comforter (<3875> advocate, intercessor)
John 14:15-21 and 23-29. Note that the word
contentment “peace” means the harmonized
relationship between God and human being through the gospel and the sense of rest and
