As the Body of Christ, we are
called to be the light in this dark world. The problem
is that many of us who are saved want
to be liked by those living in darkness. Don’t you know
that you cannot be liked by everyone? Don’t you know
that light causes
darkness to flee? We, who are in Christ, will always
cause a commotion in this wicked world! Just look at
Christ and His disciples.
They turned this world upside-down! The world has not
gotten over this commotion leading the world to God and
His light.
The world hates Christ and the world hates His
disciples. We are His disciples. The world is lost in
its sins and hates us. Do
you get it now? That is why we, the Church, cannot be
worried about being liked by the world and its darkness.
We must be
the holy witnesses to bring the world to Christ. To do
this, we must focus on Christ, the true cornerstone and
make sure that
we are aligned with Him in all things. Then we can be
the holy temples in which the Holy Spirit dwells.
