After Jonah has learned his
lesson about disobeying God and has repented, he
immediately obeys God’s calling to go
to Nineveh. Jonah is now keeping his vow to God and
teaches us an important lesson, do not test God! Do your
job! Do not
play with God, do what God tells you to do. After all,
He is the Master of all. Whatever He tells you to do, be
confident that
you can do what He asks. God knows each of us
intimately, He knows exactly what we can do, because He
made us.
Whatever we will need to complete anything that God asks
of us, He will supply. He will not ask us to do anything
that does
not meet His perfect plan. Remember, it is His plan, He
knows everyone involved and He directs the outcomes. Our
God is
Master of all. Obey God, Your Master. |
