| After witnessing Jesus and the disciples performing many miracles and the feeding of the 5,000, many of the witnesses follow
Jesus. They want only what they think He can give them. What are they seeking? They are not seeking the fulfillment of the promises that Jesus offers them that will bring them true salvation
in Him. They seek the power and miracles that He has displayed on many occasions. They do not seek to know the Messiah that God has sent to them. Like this crowd, many people today do not seek,
nor do they want the salvation and the restoration through Jesus Christ that the Father has given to us. |
