Jesus Christ calls us to peace,
peace in Him. Peace and fear cannot coexist. In God we
have No need to fear anything.
He is our sword and our shield, our great defense. Fear
nothing! This is what Ephraim, Israel, experienced when
they walked
with God, until they turned from Him to worship Baal.
The worship of Baal, a false god, angered the true God.
Baal had done
and could do nothing for mankind. When we, like Israel,
dishonor and betray God, we have reason to fear.
