As the Church and Bride of Christ we have very specific direction from our Lord Jesus Christ to introduce Him to the whole
world. This reminds us that God our Father gave His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ to us as a gift. This He did to save us from sin and to give us the joyful life that only God can give.
We are to share His Gift with everyone that He places in our path. Many of those that come to us will come with many challenges and problems. Sometimes they are bringing blessings to us.
Sometimes they are weighed down with trials, sadness, and/or anger.
What will be our responses? How do we meet their needs? Or do we add to their problems? Do we share the gift
of Jesus Christ with them and meet their true needs? As we listen to the direction of the Holy Spirit, we will be able to share the ever-truthful words that will meet the spiritual and emotional
needs of others who need the love of God in their lives. We will not be guilty of speaking “idle,” hurtful, words that cause pain and anger in others, which interfere with our witness for Jesus
Christ. God holds us accountable for every intentionally hurtful word that we speak. |
