| As we follow Jesus on His earthly ministry, we see how Jesus as a man handles the challenges and temptations
directed at Him by Satan. Each of the three temptations from Satan are the same types of temptations with which every human being is tempted. Jesus when He is targeted by
Satan's lies and misuse of God's word, He confronts Satan with God's truth and causes Satan to flee from Him. Jesus is showing us and teaching us how we are to overcome Satan's
assaults and lies. Like Jesus in His human form, we can also overcome Satan’s temptations, lies, and assaults with God's word, His truth, our obedience to God, and His
power.
