Early in Jesus’s ministry He performs many miracles. These attract the attention of many. However, there is one
Pharisee, a ruler named Nicodemus, who seeks Jesus to know more of Him. He says that all who have seen Him know that He comes from God. More Importantly, he addresses Jesus as His
Master and Teacher. He wants Jesus to teach him all that he must know. Jesus tells Nicodemus that “unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Then He
says that “unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.” Jesus is teaching Nicodemus and all of us such a straightforward truth that
many of us are confused by it. It is so important that we are no longer confused about this teaching, because our eternal lives in God are at stake.
