As believers, we are surrounded by and intimately in touch with the evidence of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit in our lives.
Jesus teaches us personally and in His Word Who He is, Who the Father is and Who the Holy Spirit is. When we accept Him as our Savior and Lord, all three persons of the Godhead live with us and in us –
always ready to communicate with us. Why would anyone refuse this truth? What would be the consequences of refusing to accept the gift of Jesus and God’s truth?
As Jesus brings His holy message
of love and salvation and as He performs His great works and miracles, He is confronted by those who refuse to believe and acknowledge Him. Jesus sees the scribes, Sadducees, and Pharisees that challenged Him as
a corrupt and evil generation to which no godly signs will be given from God. What can we expect if we reject God’s gift to us and deny the presence and truth of God? Will we be seen as corrupt and evil as the Pharisees
and doomed to the same end that they faced?
