We are so excited about our
relationship with God that sometimes we do not listen to
Him. We jump ahead of Him before
listening to Him. We often rely on what we think is the
right thing to say or do. Often it turns out that we are
wrong, we make
mistakes that do not serve our Lord well. When we think
about how to live, what to say and how to witness to
others about
God, we only have to look to the perfect example of the
relationship we must have with our Father, Jesus Christ.
Even during
the week on His way to the cross, He listened to our
Father and did what the Father told Him to do. We are
reminded that
the Father, through His Spirit, will always give us what
to say and what to do in every situation. What He tells
us to say and
to do will always glorify Him and lead others to Him. |
