What does it really mean to
be a servant for Christ? Jesus tells us that He did not
come into the world to be served
but to serve. He requires the same of each of his
followers. We are to be His servants, serving others for
Him. The only way
to accomplish this great work is to totally rely on Him.
Why? Because He will always put us in positions to rely
on Him, to serve
Him and to serve those He wants us to serve. Please know
that there are people always watching us, because we say
we are
Christians. They watch our attitudes, our behaviors, and
our witness for Jesus. Our service must shine forth the
glory of God
through our attitudes, our behavior, our witness, and
our obedience to Him in the lives of those He places in
our lives. |
