We are Jesus’ disciples. What does that really mean?
Disciples are learners, imitators of Christ, students.
Disciples are those
who examine everything that God puts before us. We must
be able to examine everything that He shows us and
teaches us to
determine what He would have us to do to glorify Him and
learn of Him and His creation. He shows us many things
that manifest
His greatness and power. God’s love is always on
display, but we do not always see it as He would have us
to see it. The Lord
wants so much for us to understand Him and to truly see
His work and for us to join Him in that work. It is only
then that we
can change our limited vision into His vision, assuming
nothing. We must always be conscious, prayerful and then
thoroughly
process all that He exposes to us. We must see and know
God’s love and His light so that it can be reflected in
us for the world
to see and for us to know what He wants us to do.
