Resurrection Sunday is coming.
Today, many people celebrate the triumphant entry of
Jesus into the city of Jerusalem.
While we may understand much about those precious days,
we still have much to learn. In Jesus’ time there should
have been
much celebrating of Who He is. The Jews at that time
should have been celebrating the Messiah Who had come to
save all of
us. It was a time that the Jewish leaders would have
been teaching and acknowledging the greatness of this
Messiah and all
that He is to all of us. He had come to be the Passover
Lamb and He is the embodiment of Jubilee, Our liberty.
Instead these
leaders and priests of the people were seeking to kill
their Messiah and all that He represented.
