God, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit created us in the image of God. God created us “perfect.” However, mankind became
disobedient to God and sin entered the world. God loves us so much that He is not willing to have us lost and go to hell for all eternity. God gives us a choice! So many of us do not understand this,
nor do we understand that He sent His only begotten Son to this troubled and sinful world to save us.
Jesus as the Bread of Life sent from Heaven by
His Father, willingly came into this evil world to rescue us, to save us so that we can return to our loving Father now and for all of eternity. This can only happen when we accept Jesus as our Saviour.
When we accept Jesus, He lovingly accepts us as the children of God and He provides us with everything that we need for godly life in this world and into eternity.
Jesus truly is the Bread of Life. He is clearly not like the manna that God sent to the Israelites wandering in the desert. That manna did not come only to those who honored God, but to all who
were wandering. That manna did not save those in the desert from death ultimately. Jesus, the Bread of Life, saves us in all of life and into eternity. He conquers sin and death, making us victorious forever! |
