Upon His resurrection, Jesus
directs His disciples to carry the gospel of Jesus
Christ throughout the world. As Paul speaks
to the people of Thessalonica, he refers to “…our
gospel.” As we grow in our relationship with Christ, His
gospel truly becomes
our gospel. His story is our story. When we submit to
our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, we are His. We live
our lives according
to His word, His truth, His gospel. The gospel is power
through the Holy Spirit and is observed in our lives. In
fact, when we
accept Jesus Christ and His gospel, all three come to
live in each of us: The Father, The Son and The Holy
Spirit. There is no
greater power to dwell in us. It is our gospel.
