| As we read and study Jonah and his story, we may see more and more that we may be like
Jonah in our relationship with the Lord. Like Jonah we want what we want, instead of seeking God’s perfect will in our lives and in what He wants
for each of us. In Jonah’s story, we see that the Lord will go wherever He must go and do whatever He must do with each of us to help us see and
accept His perfect will. It is a difficult struggle for Jonah, a struggle in which he wants to die. This is a difficult struggle for each of us, but God
will not leave us, because He wants that perfect relationship with each of us, even when we fight against Him. Let us give glorious praise and thanksgiving
to our loving and gracious Lord!
