Romans 2:15-16 (Part3) |
God loves each of us. God
created all of us in His image. That means that He has
put his truth and knowledge in each of
us. We instinctively know what is right and what is
wrong. It is up to us to act on that knowledge and what
God has given to
each of us, His standards. Some of us choose to
recognize God and His law and we choose to obey it.
Others of us recognize
God’s law and truth and choose to do the opposite of
what God requires of us in disobedience. Still there are
others, who do
not know nor fully recognize who God is, but they know
the truth, they know what is right and wrong. They have
God’s
standards within them as their conscience and they use
them to do what is right. Eventually their conscience
will unite with
the Holy Spirit when they accept Jesus Christ as their
Savior and Lord. This union gives rise to their moral
compass. This is
what exists in all who accept Jesus Christ and apply
God’s standards.
