Today we continue to learn what Jesus means about the sower, the seeds planted, and the ground upon which the seeds are sown.
As disciples of Christ, we are responsible for sowing God’s word among His people. Jesus uses a parable to help us to know that when we sow His word it may not always bear fruit because
of the soil’s condition. The enemy, Satan and his demons, will do whatever they can to steal away or destroy the word of God so that it will not prosper in the lost. Many will receive the
blessings of the sowers’ seeds, because they are good soil. Others will not. No matter what, we are required to be sowers of God’s word to redeem the lost. |
