Matthew 15:28 (Part3) |
Today, we honor mothers
everywhere who seek to fulfill their God-given
assignments in caring for their families.
A loving mother will go to any lengths to care for,
provide for, and protect her children. But what does she
do when that
is not enough; when something is required for her
children that she does not have? This was the case of
the mother who
sought Jesus to heal her daughter who was vexed by the
devil (Matthew 15:21-28). Even though we do not have her
name,
Jesus wanted us to know who she is and He wants us to
know about the faith and trust that she put in Him to
hear her cries,
know her pain and to respond to her greatest need. This
mother knew that her only hope was in Jesus.
