All things began in Genesis
according to the Lord’s word, even the family and
motherhood. While motherhood began
with Eve, there have been so many examples of motherhood
in God’s word. Some are good and holy, while others are
truly
evil. Today we examine the motherhood examples of
Jezebel and Esther. We are examining their character,
their relationships
with God, their relationships with their husbands, and how they schemed to
achieve their purposes. These queens were
mothers of their nations, one mother sought her own
interests and one sought the best and most holy
interests for her
nation’s people, her children. |
