| As Jesus teaches His disciples, preparing them for the work that that must do, He warns them. What is Jesus warning
them about? He wants them to know that there are demons who will be among the people to whom they will minister. These demons and false prophets will even come into the house of God
to try to mislead and even destroy God’s people. How will we know these deceivers? What should we do about them? Jesus tells us and teaches us to be sensitive to the leading
and teaching of the Holy Spirit. We must be vigilant and sensitive to God’s leading through the Holy Spirit, so that we can successfully oppose the evil ones and carry out God’s works. |
