This experience of walking and living in the
Spirit is indeed challenging for every believer.
In fact, we
all experience struggles and stresses as we seek to walk
in the Spirit as God directs us to do.
This happens because in this walk in the Spirit He is
leading us and teaching us to be like our Father and His
Son Jesus
Christ. That actually means that we are becoming one
with Christ through the Spirit. Just as a couple has to
give up their own
selfish interests to become one in marriage, this
process is similar to what happens as we become one in
our Lord. All struggles
and stress become great joy and peace as the Father
makes us joint heirs with Jesus Christ. The inheritance
from our Father
is worth it all!
