Is there ever a time when God is not in control? No, God is always in control, working things out for His divine plan and for
His glory! Everywhere that we look around us God is at work. His divine providence is at work. Providence is His divine
influence, His divine intervention. This is hard for some of us to accept, because we only want God to allow “good” things to
happen in our lives. We do not want to undergo any stress, strains, or “bad” things happening in our lives. But is that how
God works? No. God will do and use anything and anyone to achieve His perfect will. He tells us that “..we know that all things
work together for the good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.” We know this to
be true because we have seen it in the lives of His people such as Daniel, Joseph, Moses, Paul and even Jesus Christ Himself.
God will even use Satan to work His plan for the good of God’s children. So instead of moaning, “poor me” or “Why me” when
things around you are looking badly, ask the Father to show you what He is doing for you. Praise Him in the midst of
everything that He is taking you through. It will be all to His glory and to your glory. He will allow you to touch others for
His glory too.  That is His divine providence at work!
