God does not want us to be
ignorant and led by the vanity, the emptiness, of our
minds.
God has created us in His image. He is Spirit, we are to
yield to the Spirit in Him and the faith that He gives
us. That means
that we are not to walk in the physical world with just
our physical eyes, but we are to function in both the
spiritual and
physical realms using our spiritual eyes, led by God.
Doing so allows us to be used by the Lord as His
instruments in executing
His plan for His people. We have many examples of those
who called themselves holy, but lost their ways because
of their
vanity or ignorance instead of their trust and faith in
Almighty God. |
