In a few days we will once
again celebrate Memorial Day in the United States of
America. It will be our opportunity to
remember the many Americans who fought for our freedom
and the preservation of our country and its
Constitution. We will
remember those who unselfishly gave their lives and
limbs for us.
As Christians, this day is a reminder for us to take
the Opportunity to remember all of the saints who gave
their lives for us
to know Jesus Christ. Yes, God could have made it
possible for us to know Him without anyone else’s
assistance, but He
chooses to work through His believers, using our mouths,
hands, and feet to touch others for Him. As we read
God’s word, we
are reminded of all of those who gladly and unselfishly
gave their limbs and lives for each of us so that we can
have the true
freedom and peace that only God can provide. We are able
to witness how so many people have changed and grown in
their
relationship with God through the witness of the saints.
We are able to move forward in Jesus Christ, because we
have heard
and accepted the testimonies and the witness of His
saints. Be courageous! Move forward as God directs your
path, knowing
that He never leaves us alone on the battlefield. In Him
is victory!
