On this Memorial Day, we remember those who gave
their lives for this country. They, along with our
living veterans and
those who presently serve, made courageous commitments
with their lives to protect the truths and values that
we hold dear
in this country. We thank our military and our civil
first responders for their commitment and service to
this country and its
people.
Like these brave men and women, let us be the first
responders and warriors for Christ. Let us uphold and
carry His
banner in our personal lives and wherever we go. We can
do this by holding on to God’s promises to us. In time
of temptations,
trials and troubles, hold on to those promises that only
Christ fulfills. When the storms of life are raging, be
courageous and
hold on to Jesus. Only Christ can bring us through
successfully and victoriously!
