Paul, Silas and Timothy
greeted the people of Thessalonica with love and true
concern for them in Christ. Paul wanted
the Thessalonians to know that he was a servant of God
who came to them to bring Christ. Like Paul, the
minister’s or pastor’s
position is to be a servant of God. Wherever they go and
whatever they do is all about Jesus Christ. It is not to
be about “self”
and what “self” can get out of the people. Many who are
in the Church have been hurt by leaders who are
self-serving, greedy
and abusive to their people. The ministers’ goal must be
to change the vision of the people to see Christ in
everything and to
trust Him in everything. As servants of God, we are all
ministers. We share our testimonies to help others see
what God can
do in their lives. Are you exposing those ministers who
would victimize and hurt God’s people? Are you sharing
your testimony
to help others learn how God is working in their lives?
Are you doing your job?
