| When we are called to be doers of God’s word and not hearers only. We are required to love God and love each
other as we are fulfilling all that He has called us to do. So many of those who call themselves Christians, know much about what God’s word states, but so many do not go
any further. They are indeed “hearers” of the word. These “hearers” instead of practicing and applying God’s word, focus on using worldly standards
to discriminate against God’s people. These “hearers” operate in God’s assembly, making differences among God’s people: a truly evil exercise. God’s
word brings believers together in His love so that the body of Christ grows together to serve Him and to serve each other as brothers and sisters in Christ.
