God teaches us so much through His Word and the
Holy Spirit. Yet many of us have difficulty
understanding and applying
His holy plan for us. Instead we try to put our own spin
on it. For an example, many of us read Proverbs 31 and
focus on this
truly virtuous woman. However, Proverbs 31 is also about
her wonderful husband,; the man at the gate. Proverbs 31
gives us
a wonderful portrait of God’s plan for our marriages and
families. Let us not fall for the world’s ideas and
patterns for marriage
and family. Look to the Lord for who and what we must be
in our personal lives, marriages and families.
