Those of us who are believers in Jesus Christ do seek to live our lives according to His teachings, God’s law.
However, some of us actually get confused about what those teachings are, because some of us do not study God’s word and yield to the leading of the Holy Spirit. Many who
say they are following God’s law are really following the mosaic law. They are actually picking and choosing which laws they will follow and choose to ignore others of the
mosaic law. The truth is that God through His Son Jesus Christ has given us the law of liberty, freedom to live in Christ. God has freed us from the mosaic law which actually
kept us enslaved to sin. Many believers not understanding God’s word think that they can pick and choose which laws to follow and which to ignore. The truth is if you fail
to follow even one law, you fail all of the mosaic law. Thank God that through Jesus Christ we have the true law of liberty that allows us the focus and the freedom to love God with
all of our heart, mind and spirit, and to love our neighbors as we love ourselves. These are the most important laws that Jesus Christ has given to us.
