The ascension and rule of Jesus Christ above all
heavens and the earth means that He has much work for
His disciples to
do for the completion of God's plan on the earth. There
are those who are especially gifted and called to be
apostles, prophets,
and evangelists who go out into the world and are
responsible for alerting the people and giving them the
good news of Jesus
Christ. The pastor and teacher is the under-shepherd who
cares for the flock of God's children, protects them,
and teaches
them how to live and do the work of Jesus.
The work of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors
and teachers serve God by perfecting and equipping all
saints to do
Gods work. Therefore all believers who are His saints
have important roles to fulfill and work to do in
building the BODY of
CHRIST. Do you know what God is calling you to do for
Him? If not, you must talk to Him through prayer.
