| It truly behooves us to grow in our relationship with the Lord as believers. Some of us have such superficial relationships
with the God we say we love and serve. Superficial relationships do not help us to know God and His plan for our lives. Those poor relationships with God also do not help us to fulfill the
mission that He has given to us. God takes us through experiences for our growth and His glory. To ignore our relationship with God is to dishonor Him, ourselves, and to not understand the
experiences He presents in our lives. When we truly know God, we know that He dwells in us: The Father, Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit, all living in each believer. Understanding this
relationship also means that the believer lives in Christ. We are always directly connected to the love, the power, and the peace of God. In every experience that God takes us through, it is
to grow our relationship with Him and to prepare us for the work He wants us to do. The problem is that there are always enemies of God who are throwing things, false gods, and false beliefs
at us to separate us from our God. We have the power in the Lord to resist them and defeat them and to do our work.
