Many of us assume that
those who call themselves Christians know what it means
to be Christ-like. Not so! There are
those of us who conscientiously follow God’s word and
plan for our lives, a plan for righteousness and
holiness. We do and
will make mistakes, but those mistakes will become fewer
and fewer as we seek to be righteous and holy in Him;
covered by
God’s grace and used by Him daily. However, there are
those who say they are Christians, but are involved in
behaviors and
lifestyles that have nothing to do with God’s
righteousness and holiness. Yet they will celebrate the
righteousness of God and
act as though their unrighteous behavior is covered by
God. These are evil people seeking to mislead the very
Body of Christ.
They use the covering of the law and ignore God’s grace,
love, and plan for His people in the Body of Christ. Let
us in the Body
of Christ get on track, God’s track of righteousness.
