When Paul tells us in Romans
3 that there are “none” who seek God, he means NONE.
Then and now there are none
without sin, even though some pretend that they are so
righteous and holy with their haughty attitudes and
behaviors. We
have all missed the mark; we have all sinned. In Paul’s
time, the Church was forming and growing, but there were
those in the
church who thought themselves better than others. They
targeted Christians to destroy them with their lies,
deceit and traps.
The same occurs today. We must seek God in everything,
as though He is bread and water to our starving souls.
He must be
our essence or we will fall to those who are pretenders
and “unprofitable” to God. We must not be contaminated
by those who
are corrupt and unrighteous. We must truly seek God so
that we can “contaminate” the lost by truly reflecting
God’s essence
and perspective, so that they will come to Him for
salvation.
