| God calls on us to love our neighbor. How many believers in Jesus Christ can describe who our neighbors are? This is of the
law that God gave to His people, to us. We are not talking about only those who live next door to us. Love is defined here in the New Testament as agape. Agape love is to esteem and take
pleasure in loving God’s people with a committed love. God directs us to love His people as He loves them and to fulfill His purposes in them. Do nothing without consulting God first,
then follow His direction and use what He has given to us to fulfill His purposes in those who are our neighbors. |
