Ephesians 4:29 (Part3) |
|
It is glorious when we come to Christ and accept
Him as our Lord and Savior. Then our challenge is to
accept and live the
promises that Jesus gives to us as new creatures.
Unfortunately, some of us hold on to the old person that
we used to be and
never realize the peace, joy, and blessings of the Lord.
Then there are those who know the blessings of the Lord,
but cannot
accept them because they do not feel worthy of them.
These believers never get to experience the joy, the
peace and the
blessings of the Lord, because they give Satan and his
instruments license and opportunities to steal from us
the love and
promises that only Christ can give to us. In His
goodness, God expects us to cast off our old selves and
to grow to a higher
level in Christ. In doing so, we are able to communicate
to others the words of God to pull others to the life
that God has given
to us. The words of God are always beneficial to those
with whom we share them.
