| What does it mean to be “Hooked on God?” Believers who live with God as our Shepherd and the only source for our lives
in everything that we need and do. Psalm 23 makes it clear that we are “sheep” who require a Shepherd to live and survive in the love of Christ. Our Shepherd makes us in His image;
provides for our every need, keeps us in peace and joy, even in the midst of evil and chaos. We are reminded that He goes before us to keep us in every situation, always. His goodness and mercy
go behind us to always cover us. Are these the things that we expect from a Loving God? If believers want to fully experience these things in the love of our God, then we have no choice but to
live our lives totally “hooked” on our God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. To choose not to be hooked can only be living lives of defeat with the enemy. |
