9:21 (Part3) |
The trials and tribulations
of life enable us to let our light from God shine before
others, to glorify our Father in heaven.
It is by our faith in God that allows us to let go of
circumstances and let God have control. When we let God
have control in
all of our circumstances, we are living our faith in the
Lord.
The Thessalonians with all of their cultural influences
and backgrounds learned of Christ through Paul and then
came
together as believers in Christ. Then they were attacked
by evil forces desiring to destroy them and their
witness. However,
their faith allowed them to use the attacks as
opportunities to grow in their relationship with God.
Like the Thessalonians we
are learning that there is a difference in knowing faith
as head knowledge and in living faith as a victorious,
growing, and
deepening relationship with God.
