We are reminded that we are followers of God. To be
a follower of God means that we are “imitators” of God.
God sees us
as His dear children who imitate Him. That means using
His Word and submitting to His Holy Spirit to imitate
Him in all truth.
When we do this we live and behave in love, agape love.
We are required to put all unrighteous and unclean
living and behavior
away from us. We are called to holiness as God is holy.
If there is any sin and uncleanness in the Body of
Christ each of us is
required to address it and get rid of it. We cannot
tolerate sin within the Body of Christ, within His
Church. Even if others in the
world are involved in and accepting sinful behaviors, we
cannot. If everyone is sinning and going to hell, should
we do it too?
NO!!
Always make the choice to be holy and pleasing to God,
as we imitate God.
