God has very specific
responsibilities for us to carry out. When we submit to
Him and faithfully follow Christ, we carry
out our Father’s perfect plan. We must be clear about
what God expects of each of us. Unfortunately, we are
not always
clear about what God wants us to do and we make
mistakes. He wants us to carry out His plan to bring His
truth to all people
and especially live the truth in the Body of Christ.
What He does want from us in the Body of Christ is to be
faithful to His
every call and direction and to be guided by His Spirit.
This certainly brings challenges and hardships. God
requires us to live
peacefully with others as much as it is possible. We
must continue our work in Christ without seeking
vengeance for any
hurts or injustices. Instead, what we must do is give
all our concerns and hurts to our Father. God is the
only one has the
power and the right to carry out justice and vengeance.
Take your issues to Him. “Dearly beloved, avenge not
yourselves,
but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written,
Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord (Romans
12:19).” Instead
we must yield to God and be the obedient and willing
vessels for His perfect work to bring many to know Jesus
Christ and
to build His Body of believers. |
